PINKTOBER
Did you guys forget about breast cancer awareness? We DIDNT. On this Boxing day as we eat and drink , lets not forget an important global issue that affect many. We shot this project in October, Breast Cancer awareness month and we strongly believe that this needs to be an ongoing cause throughout the year. So just to remind you, we want to share with you this festive season a shoot that was inspired by a strong cause and colour that represents that cause.
My fellow creative and good friend Abbra and I had been in a creative rut for a long time, you know the dark place creatives go when they can’t create and nothing creates inspiration. One day Abbra sends me a deck for a photoshoot. It wasn’t this one but it got my mind kickstarted again, after a few sit-downs in October we came up with Pinktober which was inspired by both Inktober and Breast cancer awareness. We had planned a lot to shoot but we hadn’t collaborated on a photoshoot since 2016 so there was a lot of learning and discovering that went down. Having a deck beforehand really helped.
We wanted to use colour to celebrate the month of breast cancer awareness and this is what transpired, Thank you to the awesome team that came to help.
